SLJ lesson 5

This week Emma came over to my class to talk about the SLJ lesson 5. We had to make a slide show about a  landmark  in our country's. My country is Australia and I chose  the landmark Sydney Opera House. I hope you enjoy my slide show.

SLJ Lesson 4

Hi everybody, This week we are doing the SLJ lesson 4 .
I have not been here for the last 3 lesson so I have decided to pick Australia for my country. We have had to watch a show of the country that we are doing. The show that I am watching  is called The voice.

On the voice, people get to stand on stage and perform a song that they have practiced a lot to get correct. The judges have to push a button to turn around and see who is singin

We also had to rate the show that we watch out of 1 to 5 stars I rate my show a 4 stars I liked when all of the the judge's turned around for the singer.but I didn't like when but I didn't like when one person only got one judge to turn around for them 
   

The amazing systems

W.A.L.T explain what different body systems are and how they work.

This week we have been looking at 4 different body systems that are the  digestive system, the nervous system, the respiratory system and the muscular system.

The thing I think is the most important job of each system

The important job of the digestive system is taking all the nutrient out of all the food you eat.

The  important job of the nervous system is send messages to your brain and out of your brain.

The important job of the respiratory system is when we breathe in we breathe in oxygen and when we breathe out we breathe out carbon dioxide .

The important job of the muscular system is that it helps you move.

why did the skeleton go to the party alone ?
because he had no body to go with.

The amazing body

For the last 3 week  we have been looking at The Human Body. My topic group is looking at three body  systems. The Endocrine System, The  Circulatory System and the Skeletal system. We are looking at these system because this term is all about the body.

I have made a DLO about the three body system I learnt.

Winter Sports

Last week on Friday the year 5 and 6's started winter sports and the year 4's started Kelly sports .

This  year I am playing netball my team name is called Diamonds, we went over to the high school then we meet our coach at the high school her name was  Raven we went over to the high school court   we played  against Gilberthorpes silvers I was Centre I played full game.


At the end  of the game  my team was so happy because we won 30/Nile, Then we did three cheers for gilberthorpes because they played so wall. Our coach gaffe each of as a lollipop the play of the day was Khaylanie   because she got the most goal for our team.

Statistics

Every Thursday this term we have been learning about Statistics. 

I have made steam and leaf graph about Ako Ngatahi's favourite colour. What my class had to do is go around and ask people in Ako Ngatahi how much siblings my class had. I have finished my statistics and this is what my steam and leaf graph  looks like. My favourite part was when I got to ask same people in Ako Ngatahi what there favourite colour was . 

Digital ignition

 For the last couple of weeks we have been leaning about digital ignition . we had  done  colour coding we were using two colours one of the colour were green  it meant it  was on  and purpoel meant it  was
off , because the computers only understand on and off  we also got to control the   m-bot  here is two videos of me and my group  control the m-bot .
