Labour Weekend Blog

Today we had a substitute in the class and we were told to write mnemonic writing about our long labor weekend. And this is what I did during my long weekend. We have this Template to follow S.P.I.L.E.S which stands for S- social actives P- Physical I- intellectual L- ikes E- emotional S- success we had to use this to explain our Labour weekend.

My mnemonic

S- (social activities)- My family and I went on a drive to the gold mines and got fish and chips. 

P- (Physical)- My three other siblings and I went to the pool across the road from our house and went swimming.

I- (intellectual)- My Family and I watched a movie on the tv together. 

L- (likes) I liked going swimming with my siblings and playing at home.

E- (emotional) I felt happy when I was in Dunedin 

S- (success) I made it back to Christchurch safely. 

Mars Perseverance Mission

Today for hurumanu 3 which is science we have to answer questions about mars perseverance mission.

The first question I have to answer is what's rocket did the perseverance use to get into space. The rocket that they perseverance is an Atlas V-541.

 

The second question is described two vehicles that are being taken to Mars.

They took a Transit Habitat and a Lander.

The thread question is where does the mission plan to land on Mars and what are they looking for. They will lane in Jezero on mars.

And the last question is how will the vehicle lane without being damaged.

The answer to the last question is a parachute. There is a parachute connected to the vehicle and then rockets on the side of the vehicle and it helps it to slow down and makes it safer to land.

Pink River Dolphins

Today while I work from home I did this activity where I had to choose an animal to research about and make a D.L.O then post about it on my blog. I choose the animal pink river dolphin to research about. I made a slide show about the pink river dolphin and all the thing I research about I hope you like it. I also have a video at the end of the slide show about the pink dolphins.
