I.C.T Hornby project

This semester for one of my options I have chosen I.C.T witch stands for information communication technology. In this I.C.T class, we have been looking at photoshop and editing images. At the end of this term, we were assigned to make a post to represent our school and its logo. We were given two images that were part of our school one being our school logo and the other being a photo of the front of our school we had the choice to use one image if we wanted or we could use both of the images we were given. I had started my project by going onto Unsplash and choosing a background that I wanted after choosing a background I had discided that I didn't like it as much so I had chosen a different background. After choosing my background and taking I over to photoshop I had chosen the Hornby image that I wanted witch was the image of the front of our school, After choosing which image I wanted I masked my image so that I would only get the school building after doing all the editing o four school building I had taken the image and put it over the background I had chosen. Then after all that I decided that it looked a bit boring and that I wanted to add a bit o fa cultural design because I know that our school does a lot of things around a lot of cultures, so I had gon onto google and picked a design that I really like and added it to my project. After all that editing I had finally finished my project for our school and the end of term.

The project that I designed.

What a fabulous image you've created. I enjoyed reading your thinking as you worked your way through the design, and the process. I am wondering what it would look like if a next step in the process was to now make it more abstract? If you are not sure what I mean, one possible artist to look at (amongst many) might be Andy Warhol. Keep up the great work. 'He puna auaha a centre of creative excellence'.
