Gold rush knowledge
This week for hurumanu 1 wich is reading and social studies we have been looking at the gold rush history in New Zealand. We have been told to make a blog post before we read the story. The teachers want us to say what we think the gold rush is and what we think of it.
When I hear the words gold rush I think of something to do with gold and mining but I also think of rush I think of someone in a rush to go to work. But when I put the two words together I think of someone rushing gold to the city or something along that line. We were also told to write about what we thought discrimination meant, I didn't have a lot of ideas on what this meant but I think it means something like destroying something and then getting caught.
Next week I will post about the research and the correct answers to the word discrimination and gold rush and all the reading I have done for reading and social study.

And the next question is how do stars die. Stars die by running out of hydrogen and helium.
